Mark Beaudouin

Mark Beaudouin serves on the board of the National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education.

In his professional life, Beaudouin leads a 14-person team focused on legal and regulatory matters at Waters, Inc., a $1.6 billion analytical instruments market leader. His long career in corporate legal matters includes time with Parexel, a clinical trials company; J Baker, a shoe company; and GenRad, a test equipment company. Beaudouin has long been a counselor to senior executives in the private sector in both the profit and non-profit arenas.

Beaudouin received his BA form Boston College and was the recipient of the John F. Norton Prize. He has an MLitt in international law and politics from Oxford University and is a graduate of Boston College Law School.

Tony Klemmer

Tony Klemmer received his Ph.D. in Humanities from Salve Regina University. His doctoral work focuses on Moral Coherence in the Modern World. He graduated from the Harvard Business School, and served on the Executive Committee of its Alumni Board, and has a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Tony is the Founder and President of the NAATE Program focused on delivering intense residential programs of advanced learning to high performing K – 12 classroom teachers and school leaders across the country, and Wisdom for Good, a retreat program for adult personal formation. He helped found several high tech companies and developed distribution networks in Europe and ran Asian sales offices, as an officer of a multi-national technology company. Tony and NAATE were named finalists from a field of over 500 applicants by the Kauffman Foundation as a Kauffman Education Venture Fellow. In 2011 he was named to the inaugural cohort of Pahara/Aspen Institute Teacher Leader Fellows and is an Aspen Global Leadership Network Moderator. He previously served as Assistant Headmaster of Portsmouth Abbey School. Tony has been a Lecturer in Management at Yale University's School of Management, and taught Production and Operations Management in the MBA program at Babson College. Tony serves as the Senior Advisor to the Center for Equity in Urban Education at Elms College, Chicopee, MA.

Robert Walkingshaw

Rob Walkingshaw serves on the board of the National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education.

After completing his mid-career Masters in Teaching at Harvard University, Rob taught all levels of high school mathematics during a ten-year career as a teacher at the Dana Hall School (Wellesley, MA). Before becoming a teacher, Walkingshaw was a financial service industry executive, having co-founded one of the Boston area's most successful venture capital firms (North Bridge Venture Partners) in the early 1990's. He also spent time at ABS Ventures, Morgan Stanley, and Salomon Brothers.

In addition to his teaching degree, Walkingshaw received his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College and his AB in economics from Princeton University.
