Jason Griffiths is the Managing Director of School Partnerships at The National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education (NAATE). Prior to joining NAATE, Jason was the founding head master of The Brooklyn Latin School (TBLS), a selective, public school on the border of the Bushwick and Williamsburg neighborhoods of Brooklyn. In 2013, US News and World Report ranked TBLS as the #1 high school in New York City and New York State. Jason also briefly served as the principal of the Harlem Village Academy High School in the Fall of 2013.

Before starting TBLS, Jason was a teacher at Delaware Valley High School in Milford, Pa. He earned a bachelor's in history from Princeton University and a master's in educational administration from Temple University. He was a member of the fifth cohort of New Leaders, a national principal leadership program.

He currently serves on the boards of Great Minds, a non-profit organization that promotes the teaching of the liberal arts in American schools, and the Princeton Blairstown Center, which provides adventure-based, experiential education to at-risk urban youth. He and his wife, Christine, live in Portland, OR with their son, Alston.
