It was with a heavy heart that NAATE is saying farewell to both Alyssa Gill, Manager of Fundraising & Partnerships, and Sarah Mehrotra, Manager of Program Operations.
Alyssa joined the NAATE Team as a Venture for America (VFA) Fellow in the summer of 2015. She began as a School Partnerships Associate before being promoted to Manager of Fundraising & Partnerships. As her two-year VFA fellowship comes to an end, Alyssa will be pursuing her personal entrepreneurial endeavors on a full-time basis. Alyssa will continue her work with NAATE's Partnerships Team through June programs.
Sarah started with NAATE nearly two years ago, working as the Manager of Program Operations by organizing NAATE program logistics and managing the program operations team, among many other roles. She is leaving NAATE to pursue Education Policy and Management at Harvard Graduate School of Education. More specifically, she is hoping to examine how schools help shape the self and students' religious and cultural identities and to develop curriculum that will help schools become more socially and religiously inclusive.
We wish nothing but the best for Sarah and Alyssa in their career paths going forward and look forward to hearing what their next steps will be!
