The NAATE Program team kicked off our summer programs last week in New Haven, welcoming Cohort VIII for their short weekend session and Cohort VI for their final session with NAATE. Cohort VIII enjoyed their first time in New Haven at the Yale School of Management marking their midway point through the program with cases centered on efficacy and equity, adult learning and communication. We look forward to seeing them again in November. As Cohort VIII was finishing, we greeted Cohort VI on their return to New Haven. Cohort VI finished their 23 days of in-residence programming with cases on teaming, leading, and adult learning. We celebrated their graduation and look forward to seeing them continue their work in their classrooms, schools and with NAATE as future section advisors. Congratulations Cohort VI!
July is looking to be a busy month for NAATE Programs. We are looking forward to welcoming a record number of teacher fellows this July with an expected 65 new Teacher Fellows to join Cohort IX and 63 returning Teacher Fellows in Cohort VII. We hope it will be a stimulating, challenging and invigorating summer for all Teacher Fellows who are joining us in New Haven this July. We look forward to meeting Cohort IX and seeing Cohort VII graduate.
The Program Team would like to thank Jackie Bart, Manager, Program Communications for her work with NAATE over the past 2 ½ years. Jackie will be moving on to graduate school in August. We are excited for her and this next step in her career. Due to Jackie’s departure, we are currently looking for a recent college graduate to fill the role of Program & Partnerships Associate at NAATE. If you know someone who might be a good fit, please reach out to Cari Winterich.
