NAATE Returns to Nashville this January March 25, 2015
This winter we hosted a series of programs in Nashville, and, as always, battled two different weather systems - a storm that knocked out the east coast, and an ice storm that threatened to close down Nashville. Despite winter weather warnings, the show went on. All cases and sessions were held at the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University which was graciously made available to NAATE. We started off by welcoming Cohort V to Nashville at the end of January. Teacher Fellows wrestled with cases that explored work/life balance, assessment and interpersonal communications. A big thank you to Cohort V for their hard work - we will see you this July!
Cohort VI Teacher Fellows proved their toughness in their second session, with NAATE moving up their last day of sessions to 6:30 a.m for a case discussion of All in a Day's work due to weather. Before the change of plans, Teacher Fellows had the chance to explore themes surrounding assessment (formative and written) and equity. We would like to thank Cohort VI for their dedication throughout their first NAATE session last November and for continuing their work with us this February.
