Katie Wu is the Research & Program Manager at the National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education.
Prior to working at NAATE, Katie worked as a summer research assistant at the Tobin Project in Cambridge, Massachusetts in its History of American Democracy initiative. She has worked in various museum settings including the education and curatorial departments of the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, the Arthur and Elizabeth Schlesinger Library for the History of Women in America, the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, and the Harvard Art Museums. Katie has also worked overseas, most recently in Tianjin, China, where she taught summer classes for students aged six to twelve. She is passionate about the power of public education as a means of promoting citizenship and engagement. Katie graduated magna cum laude with highest honors from Harvard College with a B.A. in American History and Literature.
