Tysha Vulcain is the Manager of Program Operations at the National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education. Tysha is a New York native who graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in Psychology and Education in May 2017. For three years she was a Diversity Outreach Fellow for Mount Holyoke's Office of Admission, where she planned and executed programming for prospective students and families. Her interest in education was sparked when she volunteered with Girls to Women, a student organization that mentored young girls from a local high school. After six months studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa and volunteering at a refugee camp, Tysha knew education was her passion.
