Meredith McAndrew is the Manager of Program and Partnerships for the National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education. Meredith received her master's in Teaching Visual Arts from the University of the Arts, and her bachelor's in English from the University of Pennsylvania. Meredith is a passionate advocate for the arts in education and a strong believer in the importance of visual literacy. While working towards her master's, Meredith spent time observing and teaching in a wide range of Philadelphia-area K-12 schools, where she was able to see first hand the impact that school culture and systems of support have on both teacher retention and student well-being.
