Juan is Senior Director of School Partnerships for NAATE.

Juan supports the growth and strengthening of partnerships with school districts and charter networks. Prior to joining NAATE, Juan was a Founding Co-Director of Roxbury Prep High School in Boston, where he helped lead the school's design and launch in addition to overseeing operational and administrative functions. Juan previously supported K-12 education as a Leadership Fellow with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle and as a community organizer with the Industrial Areas Foundation in Dallas and San Antonio. Juan has worked for various financial institutions, including Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan. Most recently, Juan was a Vice President at General Electric, in various leveraged finance roles in New York, Connecticut, and Hong Kong.

Juan grew up in Texas and received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies from Harvard College and a Masters' in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
